American Idol contestant and Lawrence Countian Noah Thompson will be home for a concert tonight. He is currently in the top 3. Rumor is that Ricky Skaggs (also from LC) and Luke Bryan will be there. The local tourism commissioner announced that this is the biggest event that LC has ever prepared for. Noah and Ricky are both from a amall area called Cordell which is located between Louisa and Blaine. (This is just across the hill from me.)

Noah did it! Although I don't watch the show myself, it's pretty cool that a local boy won on this type of contest. He's probably drawn more attention to this hick county than its ever seen before.
